Thorsten Hillmann – Keyboardist, Engineer, Family Man

I’ve been on stage since 1996. My main job today is leading product management – before that, for several years, I was responsible for the technical side of a product with a nine-figure annual turnover as a Product Owner. It's precisely this blend of technical expertise and practical thinking that goes into every sound I program. I am married and a father of two young children – I run my side business with the same professional standards as my main job.

You know the problem:

The perfect sound for a song doesn't exist as a preset – so you spend hours programming. Or you buy it from me and play it live tomorrow.

From the stage to you

I'm not a sound designer in a studio. I'm a keyboardist in a cover band – and I program sounds that work on stage: assertive within the band mix, instantly playable, without complicated adjustments.

Why mounts?

Because I couldn't find a suitable one myself. Most mounts are clunky, conspicuous, or wobbly. Mine are compact, directly on the keyboard, and almost invisible to the audience.
