FAQ about the mounts
Here you'll find important information about my 3D-printed brackets, which are made from PLA. I use the FDM process, where the component is built up layer by layer. A completely smooth surface is only possible through post-processing, which I only offer upon request for my brackets, as I don't consider it necessary and it only increases the price.
In rare cases, minor irregularities may occur due to material properties; however, these do not affect stability or quality. I carefully inspect each part before shipping – only products I would use myself leave my premises.
Should you experience any dissatisfaction, please contact me and we will find a solution together.
The mounts are robust, but not indestructible. I can offer more durable versions upon request. However, for normal use, the current mounts are more than adequate and can withstand several drops.
The material remains dimensionally stable up to approximately 60°C. Theoretically, problems could arise at higher temperatures, but I haven't experienced any difficulties myself, even on stages in the summer.
PLA is weatherproof and UV-resistant. Feel free to ask me about other colors and materials – the color palette is very extensive.
